Five Time Olympian
Abhinav Bindra created history in Beijing 2008 by winning the first ever individual gold medal for India at the Olympic Games. He is the only Indian Shooter in the World to hold both the world Championship title in 2006 and Olympic gold medal in 2008 simultaneously. He has Represented India in 70 World Cups, 5 Commonwealth Games and 2 all American Shooting Championships. He has competed in 5 Olympics, 3 Asian Games, 10 European Circuit Championships, and at the age of 17 he represented India at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, becoming the youngest shooter in the world to compete in the Olympics. An eight times National Champion, he is a role model and a benchmark for aspiring marksmen.
He is also committed to supporting talented youngsters pursue their sporting ambitions. he aims to contribute towards Transforming the sporting landscape in India to make it more athlete-friendly for sportspersons from varied disciplines.
